Activity Sticks! Basically, when the kids are starting to drift I say "activity time!", I set the timer for one minute and draw an activity. We then do the activity until we finish or the timer goes off. The kids love it! You'd be surprised how excited they get when I draw push ups, especially the boys! Haha, show offs. :)
Cute idea.... set timer for one minute and draw an activity stick and do what is on the stick for one minute or until finished. Website gives a template to to print off 30 different activities. To get their bodies moving wakes up their minds.

Kindergarten Sight Words - print & laminate. An activity to do would be to get clothespins write one letter on each clothespin (some letters you will need more than 1 of - such as 2 e's for "here" or "please"), and then match the clothespins to the letters of each sight word, and then say the sight word
