The clothespin keeps the spoon from sliding into the pot :) Why didn't I think of that!!! + lots of kitchen tips & tricks.

Flip the bell peppers over to check their gender. The ones with four bumps are female and those with three bumps are male. The female peppers are full of seeds, but sweeter and better for eating raw and the males are better for cooking. That's sweet!

Cupcake liner to keep bugs out of your drink in the summer, smart.

For playing games on a road trip. Shake dice in a mini tupperware container instead of rolling them (and promptly losing them... or bouncing one off the back of Dad's head)

The "miracle" of baking soda and peroxide. Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl.....add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING! Stove, oven, pans, stainless steel applicances, even the white handles of the refrig door.

Using stickers and sticky notes with the rubrics on them...makes grading SO much faster!

A page full of "did you knows".. If you place a wooden spoon over a pot of boiling water, it won't boil over. Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster. Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold! Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating. Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking. Add a teaspoon of water ...
