homemade flip flop ideas
MOPS craft idea. use cheap plastic flip-flops and replace plastic straps with fabric! I made a pair for me and a pair for Sara. We love them!!! For kid's sizes, I reduced the size of the fabric strips to 2"x14". And I do recommend sewing the strips into tubes so there are no raw edges. (I am so proud of you, @Valerie Avlo Lane!! Nice photo and pedicure, too!)

I made a pair of these out of some old flip flops and 2 scarves I picked up at the dollar store. They turned out super cute! I just recommend getting pretty long scarves if you want to be able to wrap them around more than once and tie them into a cute bow. I'll definitely be making more of these for myself and Mary! Maybe even as Xmas gifts!

Supplies: sharp scissors, white bath towel, one pair of flip flops per guest, hot glue gun Directions: Cut the white bath towel into strips that are the same width and length as the strap on each flip flop. Each set of flip flops will have 4 cut strips from the towel. Apply a thin line of hot glue on the flip flop then place the cut towel strip on top. Repeat with the remaining 3 strips of the towel. For the bow, cut a piece that is about 1.5” x 21” long and then tie into a bow.
