MOPS craft idea. use cheap plastic flip-flops and replace plastic straps with fabric! I made a pair for me and a pair for Sara. We love them!!! For kid's sizes, I reduced the size of the fabric strips to 2"x14". And I do recommend sewing the strips into tubes so there are no raw edges. (I am so proud of you, @Valerie Avlo Lane!! Nice photo and pedicure, too!) toe, plastic, pedicures, flip flops, flipflop, nails, kids, old navy, crafts

I made a pair of these out of some old flip flops and 2 scarves I picked up at the dollar store. They turned out super cute! I just recommend getting pretty long scarves if you want to be able to wrap them around more than once and tie them into a cute bow. I'll definitely be making more of these for myself and Mary! Maybe even as Xmas gifts! craft, summer sandals, diy fashion, new life, dress up, flip flops, diy clothes, scarv, shoe

I hadn't seen a great kid project in a while. While researching something else, I found this. Too cute. The only thing I would emphasize is to not make them too tight. I don't know how balloons rubbing on skin would feel. So make a loose bracelet at first. party favors, kid activities, activities for kids, kid projects, diy bracelet, new crafts, kid parties, kid crafts, friendship bracelets

Welcome to The Family Handyman
Supplies: sharp scissors, white bath towel, one pair of flip flops per guest, hot glue gun Directions: Cut the white bath towel into strips that are the same width and length as the strap on each flip flop. Each set of flip flops will have 4 cut strips from the towel. Apply a thin line of hot glue on the flip flop then place the cut towel strip on top. Repeat with the remaining 3 strips of the towel. For the bow, cut a piece that is about 1.5” x 21” long and then tie into a bow.
