Paving fake bricks with a concrete mold

I documented the hardscapes construction I did in my backyard.

I love my new walkway.

This documents the slow journey of brick mold pours, coloring and curing, borders, sand topping, and final glaze of oil-based polyurethane. I'm very happy with the results.

What I did here was first use a flat roller and glossed over the bricks with oil-based polyurethane. I then swept the sand/topping mixture into the cracks until it all settled. By far, the most fun part of the whole project.

I first tried to mold bricks with an old aluminum sign that I glued together with fiberglass. It was a nightmare to use ad used two and a half 80 lb. bags of concrete. No luck there.

I used a popular photography software to make some plans.
