A newborn baby abandoned in a Kenyan forest was saved by a stray dog who apparently carried her across a busy road and through a barbed wire fence to a shed where the infant was discovered nestled with a litter of puppies.
A blind Boxer named Baks got a whole new lease on life thanks to a good Samaritan goose named Buttons. Baks has been taken under the 'wing' of Buttons, a four-year-old goose who now leads her vision-impaired pal around everywhere either by hanging onto him with her neck, or by honking to tell him which way to go.

6-year-old Diamond Marshall, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year and lost her mother to the disease when she was 18-months-old, met Kate Middleton in Calgary with help from the Children's Wish Foundation after she wrote this letter: "Dear Princess Kate. My name is Diamond Ann. I am six. I was named after Princess Diana. My Mommy Memory is in heaven with her. I have cancer. I spend a lot of time at the hospital. I watched you get married from my bed there. You looked pretty. I like playing Princess dress up. My favourite princess is Aurora. Who is yours. I would really like to meet you. Do you want to meet me too? " And she did. ♥

The New Zealand oil spill left many penguins in need of warmth and protection. Sweaters were used to prevent the birds from preening their feathers and ingesting the toxic oil. So far, enough sweaters have been knit to cover the little guys, so you can put your knitting needles away for now. Too cute!!
Penguins in sweaters!
These two men are brothers who have met for the first time after 50 years of separation from the Korean War. This pictures sends chills down the spine.
I know this is a dad with his new baby but it made me think of a certain doctor I work with. I love seeing doctors deliver babies. It's even better seeing them save lives when the baby struggles. The only thing better than that is when I get to step in and help...knowing I'm doing something so important blows my mind...it's such a good feeling. I love my job!
Someone made an excellent recommendation. She thinks they should make a Barbie with no hair so that every little girl fighting cancer can feel beautiful. Dress the Barbie in pink, name her HOPE and send all proceeds from sales to a Sick Children's Hospital. I think that is an awesome idea. Please post this if you agree, hopefully it will be seen by someone who can make a difference.
