Dec 20 A giant wall of perspex cubes, which sense the environment around and inside them, lighting up in different colours - whether it is music being played or the amount of air pollution that evening. Science Brainwaves volunteers teach the public to programme arduinos to control the cubes, supporting the development of computer literacy. #science #volunteering #charity

Dec 14 Dr Eric Albone received his MBE from the Queen at Windsor Castle in November. Eric has been volunteering in various capacities with the Association since 1985, most recently as Chair of the Bristol and Bath Branch (2003-2011). In 2011 he was made an Honorary Fellow of the Association. #science #volunteering #charity
