To me, cars are public art in the same sense that clothes are. Take this Morgan Roadster Sport for example. It is currently being produced and a new one will cost around 60k US$. This car is art because an artist has designed it with attention to elements of style in order to make something that is both a statement and pleasing to the eye. This can be said for almost any car really, but it is especially true for this one.
