Trevi Fountain, Rome. I've tossed a coin over my shoulder and I DID return to Rome, as legend has it. You can do the same by having your OWN "La Dolce Vita" moment when you call me, Tom Koebel at Luxury Voyages 800-598-0595. I have transatlantic cruises that start at only $499 for 14 nights, with all meals, from Rome to the US. fontana di, rome italy, coin, di trevi, travel, place, trevi fountain, bucket lists, spot

St. Petersburg, Russia. I'm pretty sure I actually saw this, at night, and was completely blown away by how beautiful it was. This picture does it no justice.

Casa Batlló is a building restored by Antoni Gaudí in 1904-1906. The building looks very remarkable — like everything Gaudí designed. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones). Much of the façade is decorated with a mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles (trencadís) that starts in shades of golden orange moving into greenish blues. interior design, hotel interiors, antoni gaudi, home interiors, design interiors, architecture interiors, place, barcelona spain, bedroom interiors

Casa Batlló was originally built between 1875 and 1877. In 1900 it was bought by the rich industrialist Josep Battló i Casanovas who commissioned Gaudí to tear down the old house and reconstruct a new one. Gaudí however convinced Battló to remodel the existing building. Between 1904 and 1906 Gaudí redesigned the facade and roof, added an extra floor and completely remodeled the interior. architect, antoni gaudi, window, art, barcelonaspain, antonio gaudi, hous, place, barcelona spain
