DIY jewelry organizer. I bought a shelf from Michael's and spray painted it to look like gray stone (it's awesome!) A cheap black picture frame from Target with craft stitch fabric hot-glued to the inside. I also bought 3 small, cheap wooden boxes from Michael's and painted them to set on top of the shelf and hold watches, earring backs, etc. get bottles to hold bracelets
Neat way to organize and display earrings and necklaces.
umm...genius. Velcro bedskirt. Easy to wash, easy to put back on, no moving the entire bed for it, and always stays put! --I had been trying to figure out a DIY for this and here it is!

No space for shower supplies in your shower area? Try finding a mesh pocket holder and hang it over the curtain rod on the inside. Voila, instant storage space and easy access. Just throw the pocket organizer through the laundry whenever it needs it.
Love the chore list, but I like to add a daily or every other day laundry load to the the list so Saturday doesn't become overwhelmed with laundry. For example, Monday - sheets, Tuesday - kids clothes, Wednesday - adult clothes, Thursday -towels, Friday - kids clothes, Saturday - adult clothes. With a set schedule it is easier for the rest of the house to help.
(great to remember for move-out or in) Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths
I cannot stand that smell! Good to know incase I have to defunk my towels in the future! How to Remove Mildew Smell from Towels
Tissue box keeps plastic bags organized. A small tissue box keeps latex gloves handy for cleaning. An empty rectangular tissue box makes a convenient holder for small garbage bags, plastic grocery bags and small rags. Velcro circles to attach inside door maybe? Good idea for bathrooms - replace bag in the trash can
