Artist Rirkrit Tiravanija‘s retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand is pretty much the ultimate in indoor-outdoor living. One of the only parameters was to retain the trees on the property, which gives the house a truly organic, meandering shape

large expanses of glass in your Future Quadrant draw your Qi (chi) "out the window"...this means you are not living and enjoying the present, always worrying about the future. To counteract this negative flow of Qi place something colorful on the coffee table in the Health Quadrant to keep you "in the moment"

This is similar to the wall treatment I designed for front room using barn beam we inherited ,but couldn't talk hubby into building it, so went with floor to ceiling entertainment / shelving unit instead. Still my 1st choice, still hoping! My plans included flexibility and changeable shelves, as these look to be.
