I'm getting the hang of making these roses out of just a single piece of gum paste. This one was made with some extra pink rolled fondant I had left over from class today, but I added a generous amount of Tylose to it first.
Gum paste roses painted using similar, yet slightly different, methods. There's more than one way to make 'em shiny.
