Macrame - friendship bracelets. By taking 1/4" or 3/8" braided rope and using the same idea for bracelets you can create a stylish border for a coffee table, end tables, mirror frames and picture frames to bring color into your home and is very easy to make.

Fab 100th Day of School ideas
Marble Races with a cheap pool noodle (occupies the kids for hours.) Great for rainy or hot summer days! Very cool idea!
Great idea! Could be an end of year 'thanks for being a great student' gift or a beginning of the year 'welcome' gift. I should so do this!!! Talking about end of year gifts, I made my class this year a wordsearch with everyone's names on so they could remember everyone even if someone left the school. It also gave them something fun to do this summer!!
My friend makes these for the kids at school. Really cute idea. Would be better with only 1 or 2 colors though, so you don't get grey spots.

Another "calming jar" idea: your kids shake the bottle and then have to watch it till the glitter settles to the bottom. This one has the advantage of being in non-breakable plastic bottles. Also, you can superglue the lids on, so the kids don't open the bottles and drink the glitter glue while they're "calming down."
Time out bottles! Water, glue and glitter...shake it up. It takes 5 minutes to settle. Watching it settle relaxes them, and you don't have to set a timer.
