A working model of the propeller-propulsed train in France. The speed was phenomenal, and acceleration was faster than anything else at the time. But braking was aided by reverse thrust of the propeller being spun backward, and the unexpected---and unremedied---result was a vibration severe enough to rattle the fillings out of passengers' teeth. The experiment was cancelled when nothing could be done to correct the problem.
