I like to tell my clients to play this like a game of golf, the lowest score wins! So whenever you can make an easy change of lowering the sugar or carbs, do it! For example, change the marinara sauce you use if you find one with one less carb. I used Prego marinara in my college days which has about 12g carbs per serving. Now my homemade marinara has only 3g per serving since I use yellow tomatoes.

I made this last night for easy breakfasts/lunch when I’m in a hurry. Tried it this AM – and it’s delicious. My kids even loved it and want it again tomorrow. I love that it’s so simple to make.
