I lost my adorably eccentric, gold and glitter-wearing, generous, hilarious, holiday-loving mom WAY too soon. I miss her as much today as the day she died. If your mom is still alive, cherish every single second. Visit her, text her, bring her flowers just because (or whatever floats her cute little boat!). Sadly, she will not always be here. - In honor of my glittery little momma!
This quote reminds me of a story about my brother. My brother's Dad had passed away and he saved his money and bought a salt and pepper shaker for Mom for Christmas. He was so proud and happy to be able to give her a gift. She proceeded to chew him out for doing such a thing and was ungrateful for the deed. He is 60 yrs old and it has never been forgotten....forgiven but not forgotten.
