Brussels sprouts, bacon and apple. Had this with dinner tonight. It was delicious, and I don't normally care for Brussels sprouts. I used twice as much bacon, since we are bacon fiends, and I used balsamic vinegar (go easy with it) instead of red wine vinegar. This is a definite keeper!
Cuban Spiced Pork Chops 5 boneless pork chops 2 lime, juiced , 1⁄2 tsp ground cumin. 2 clove garlic, crushed ,1⁄4 tsp onion powder 1⁄4 tsp black pepper 1⁄2 tsp olive oil Trim excess fat from pork chops. Use a knife to cut shallow cross-hatch marks over both surfaces of the chops. Mix all remaining ingredients together in a ziploc bag or non-reactive container. Add the chops and place in the refrigerator. Marinate at least an hour. Grill or broil 8-10 minutes, turning once half way.
Miami Vice-seriously my new favorite drink. SO SO good! Throw an extra shot of rum (or coconut rum) in with it and it's absolutely perfect.
