Pumpkin Pie Bread Pudding with Bourbon-Pecan Hard Sauce Recipe on Food & Wine
Another in Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series. If you like historical romance with a slash of adventure, check out the whole series.
This is the latest in Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series. Set in 1730s London, You could say this story is set in both the sophisticated drawing rooms and country houses of the wealthy, as well as Bedlam and London's slum of St. Giles. Hoyt's story brings the two worlds together as the Duke and the ladies companion struggle to find not just their own HEA, but for those they care about as well.
Jeannie Lin's historical romance set in Tang Dynasty China. It's not your average drawing room historical, but it's a wonderful look at love blooming in a fascinating culture. Lin makes it accessible and compelling.
This is one of Sabrina York's Tryst Island series and I really enjoyed it. The relationship between the hero and heroine and how it evolved into something healthy and positive for both of them was wonderful.
We stayed at this cool old hotel in Maine that had all kinds of back terraces and decks. I think it was originally for servants to clean the rooms without having to go through the main hallways.
Just read this last week and really enjoyed it. It's a re-release of an older book, and an early foray into fantasy. Very good read!
The first in a fantasy trilogy. A very creative book and a fun read!
