i love organization
/ garden accessories organization
/ wrapping paper storage - ikea $1.50 plastic bag holder
/ attach wire shelving to floor joists for out of the way storage.
/ hooks in a closet instead of a bar w/coat hangers.
/ editing your wardrobe! so hard.
3 bookcases from Ikea - one turned sideways & painted w/ chalkboard paint. ... ooohhh neat! i can see this also working for a fabric board or photo collage area. My only reservation with these types of storage is that the baskets can be hard to find in an ideal size, Ikeas shelf and box sizing is always ~just a bit~ too small
/ make your own photo display ledge
/ laundry room / use a drink dispenser for detergent
Remove closet doors to make a hallway nook: It's a cute idea, but who has extra closets they're not using for, you know, like eight million things that need to be hidden behind a door? If you know anyone that fits that description, let me know. I've got about ten giant plastic bins I can't figure out where to stuff.
Get these small wire baskets from the dollar store. They are called "drawer organizers" and I found them in the office supply section. Screw them onto the wall in small spaces where you need some storage. Be creative! Think of your crowded spots full of little things. Pantry, linen closet (don't forget the inside of the door), bed side, entry door...
/ baskets from the dollar store to organize spices in a pantry
/ shoe box + toilet paper tubes (and/or paper towel tube pieces) = storage for pens and other office/art supplies
