Who doesn't love little Debbie's Oatmeal Cream Pies? Here's the homemade version and even better, the recipe calls for ingredients you have in your kitchen.
Cupcakes for two: for when you just don't need a bunch of sweets laying around - 1 egg white, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 cup flour 1/4 heaped teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons milk Bake at 350.

Another pinner said: Kids birthday ice cream cupcakes! I just used store-bought tubs of icing(except I made the green), filled ziploc bags, cut the corner off, and piped on the icing. It works in a pinch! I used gumdrops instead of gum balls and used cookie icing for the "chocolate syrup" because it has that drippy look. These are so easy and cute!! Big hit!!

Cheesy Potato Wedges - original recipe didn't make a whole lot of sense to me so I modified it a bit: 4-6 Potatoes cut into wedges and toss in: Olive Oil, Pepper, 1 packet of Ranch, your favorite Seasoning Salt, real bacon bits, 1/4 c milk. Bake at 400* for 40 mins or until fork tender. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and melt in oven for 5 mins. Serve w/ Sour Cream & diced green onions

Hopefully this will help keep fruit and veggies from going bad too early. Smart things here. I have practiced many of these most of my life. I will add Tomatoes. I do not refrigerate them ever. I have a hanging basket in the kitchen for my tomatoes and if I cut it I eat the entire tomato then and there. They act of chilling a whole or cut tomato sucks the flavor away immediately.
