Not my thought, but i love it: I call these happenings 'God things.' God uses our brothers and sisters in Christ to bless us in MANY ways. But there are just some times that cannot be explained that way. Something that was God and God alone I love 'God things.' They are such a wonderful surprise--a gift from a passionately loving Father. LB
Absolutely true. Going to Mass on Sundays is actually the bare minimum. We should also receive Communion and Penance regularly, and develop an active prayer life. Because of how much it lays out the spiritual logic of Salvation in Christ through the Church, I can't recommend the daily Rosary enough. If surrendering your life to God seems daunting, then doing these things allows Him to take over itty bit by itty bit.
"Faith is trusting God as a well-known friend. It believes that He will not do us harm & that His intentions for us are only good (see Jere 29:11). Faith does not demand answers from God, but seeks to discover what will bring glory to Him in each aspect of our lives. It does not focus on what we want - it focuses on what He wants. (see Matt 26:39) ... Proverbs 3:5-6
I need to repeat this over and over!!
