Japanese Cheesecake - looks like pound cake, tastes like cheesecake. This one goes in the 'to do' file.
Wrap an aluminum foil box and put muffins or cupcakes in it for gifts
Add sparkle to the Christmas tree- Glue 2 mini mirrors, back to back and insert a silver metallic cord for hanging. Fill the insides of the tree with these after putting on the lights, but before putting on the ornaments. The sparkle will be tripled...and Christmas tree sparkle is awesome.
Each kid gets their own wrapping paper - none of the gifts are marked, and in order to know which gifts are theirs, they have to find a tiny piece of their wrapping paper in the bottom of their stocking. it's a little last minute excitement, as they see the gifts, but don't know which belongs to who. Cute and some great Christmas traditions in this blog post. *I'm doing this when my kids are 3+ years old!!!

Soft, melt in your mouth, brown sugar cookies.
Chalk board gift tags! Reusable! This is so clever. These little wood cutouts are cheap at Michael's, and a little chalkboard paint goes a long way! @Andrea Wheat
toooooo cool!! Stenciling Pie Crusts...Anyone can do this one - all it takes is an extra minute to apply cinnamon sugar or powdered food colors on your rolled out pie crust top then bake as usual. This would be so beautiful on a holiday table, or entered at the county fair!

Candy Cane Dust. Just put candy canes in food processor. Add to hot cocoa or coffee, sprinkle on cakes and cookies, add to cake or cookie batter, dip chocolate pretzels in it, sprinkle on ice cream or yogurt

JELLO FROSTING!! It is fast, super light, smooth and creamy on the tongue (very similar to a 7 minute frosting, but so much easier). Neatest of all, is that it is flavored with jello, so you can make it in ANY Jello flavor you like...watermelon? blueberry? pina colada? Kids will LOVE this frosting.
Single Crust Pie Crust. Use cookie cutters to make, push into muffin pan & fill with pumpkin pie, cheesecake, chocolate silk pie, cherry! Anything! (This recipe is for Mini Lemon Tartlets + the Crust).
