Cucumber Salad. Great side dish for only 50 calories! Ingredients 1 large cucumber 2 tsp coarse sea salt 1 Tbsp light sour cream 1 tsp finely chopped onion 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp sugar. I might swap the sr crm for greek yogurt & replace sugar with xylitol or leave out all together.
Baked Eggs with Crispy Hash Brown Crust - One of the highlights of our winter brunch menu was this dish: Eggs topped with cheese, baked in a cast iron skillet, with a crispy hash brown crust hidden below. This one is much simpler than it looks. It’s really only three ingredients: potatoes, eggs, and cheese.
This is our favorite way to eat broccoli of all time! My husband says he would rather eat this than fries. I put a few Tbsp of olive oil in a ziploc with some salt and pepper and the broccoli and shake. Then spread on a cookie sheet and spread minced garlic over it and roast at 425 deg F for 20-25 minutes.
Try this. Crockpot! 1 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup light soy sauce 2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins. Cook on low 6-8 hrs and they should just fall apart.
The trick is to put the pan in a cold oven and then switch it on and begin your timer. Im amazed how many people dont know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. I hate getting SPLATTERED!! This works perfect!
add baking soda to the water when hard boiling eggs and the shell will come right off ~~ add 1/2 tsp of baking soda to the water it will make the egg shell easier to peel.
