Catawba Crape Myrtle zones 7-9 full-partial sun. This lovely shrub can also be trimmed into a small tree. It will have a mature height of about 10-12 feet. It has a spread of around 8 to 12 feet and will be widest at the crown. Front yard: 1st choice!

(great to remember for move-out or in) Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths

Caulk it right... The clean way....duh....why didn't I see this three weeks ago. This person is so smart. cheers to Brilliance.

576 loads of laundry for $6. I have pinned this before, but I like these directions better. (update: made this and works awesome, I will never spend $10 on one thing of laudry soap again!)

New Nostalgia: No Grate No Cook Liquid Laundry Detergent. Cheap, easy & only 3 ingredients + water. Borax, washing soda & Dawn soap OR Dr. Bronners Liquid Soap for a more natural option. Measure, shake, done. #natural #cleaning

A door-less walk in shower that can be done in small spaces...I want THIS!!

10 Cup Food Processor with Compact Storage Feature - 70760 - available from Hamilton Beach. I just bought this at the NEX for $46.99. Very nice, easy to use.

This has lots of potential! Fall tree made with a tomato cage. IDEA: make one for Halloween with spider webs and spiders and other things that are pretty creepy looking!

This is fun! This is a great bird feeder because it sticks to the window (so the children and cats can see the birds up close), and it has a one-way mirror so the birds don't see the cat and the kids!

Pavers lining the sidewalk/driveway... great way to "dress up" a standard entry!

I so need to try this. When I was in the Master Gardener program we used the water crystals in planters and I knew it was the same thing in diapers, but it never crossed my mind to put a diaper in the bottom of one. Someone else said, "The trick to amazing potted plants - diapers. I did this in my hanging baskets last year and they rocked all season."
