The dining room table was a long thought out process. In the end my husband couldn’t make it himself so we hired a carpenter from East Vancouver to make the table top. She did a fantastic job! The legs were made by a local steel company but my husband painted the legs. It is extremely sturdy and we look forward to it showing great wear and tear from our son.

The children's bathroom turned out great - I changed it up and put the hooks on a painted board so that it could be secured into studs since our studs are WAY too far apart! I also secured the bottoms of the pics to the wall w/ velcro so that they wouldn't be knocked off the wall by hyper, young children! Love it!
Pretty and practical - even little kids would know which towel is theirs!

If the new home doesnt have an extra room to use as an office, consider this idea by adding the office under the basement stairs !! What a great use of space !! (PS my father built a wine cellar under the stair case where he would age his wine in a perfectly controlled temperature. Great idea too !!)
