A Song of Ice and Fire is an epic fantasy masterpiece. All five (he's working on the other two) books are brilliantly detailed. The characters are so human that is quite easy to become immersed in their world. A world where dragons, magic and even zombies are very real. written booksworthread, games, ice, current read, songs, fantasi book, fire seri, throne seri, game of thrones
This is on my "to read" list.
A good series over all. The writing starts out ok but progressively gets better as you read the four books. It makes sense because Paolini was only 15 when he wrote the first one. What makes it stand out is the conclusion of the story, something for which I will always respect him for. inheritance cycle, eragon, books, reading groups, worth read, book worth, reading levels, christoph paolini, dragon
These books were great.
Little House on the Prairie, Read it as a child and it was an enchanting story. Read it as an adult and you realize how terrifying it was for the adults: how close to starvation and death they were. childhood books, little girls, memori, laura ingalls wilder, little houses, growing up, children books, book series, young girls
This series was my absolute favorite as a child, and visiting these places as an adult was like being a kid again.
Again, the books are always better than the movies.
Ready every single one of these too.
4.5 stars ==> #25 of 50 = "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton (180p). So fun to read this classic novel for my book club. I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise and it was a great story. I want to see the 1983 movie with all kinds of stars in it! (Patrick Swayze, Dianne Lane, Rob Lowe, etc.) memori, the outsiders, middle school, student, book, young adults, friend, novel, stay golden
