Moonmelon (scientifically knows as asidus). This fruit grows in some parts of Japan and is known for its vibrant blue colour. This fruit's party trick is that it can switch flavours after you eat it. Everything sour will taste sweet, everything salty will taste bitter, and it gives water a strong orange-like taste!
VW van pumpkin. Way cool
Vinyl Record City Wall Clocks Estonian designer pavel sidorenko has created ‘cities’, a collection of 15 wall clocks depicting different iconic locations for his ‘re vinyl’ series. Old records are cut to show the silhouettes of buildings and environments associated with each city while keeping the original record label as is. The repurposing of the material gives it a new function while reminding the users of the days of acoustic recordings.
Janis Joplin's Porsche (a 1965, 356 Cabriolet). She bought it in September 1968 at the height of the era of flower power, and had it hand painted by a friend. She still owned it at the time of her death in October 1970. This was part of the Psychedelic Exhibition in Tate Liverpool in 2005. As of May 2007 it is in the Whitney Museum in New York.
Another pinner: Ranblow Spatter Cupcakes. "I've made these so many times, I've lost count. Using white cake mix, make batter as directed. Use several plastic (or glass) cups, pouring white batter in them, divide between all cups. Add food coloring to each cup for the colors desired. Mix each cup and then put a little of each color in each muffin cup in small blobs. Then drizzle other colors over the blobs. Bake as directed. My kids always wanted these for every birthday and special occasion."
