Here is a tip from a fellow sponsor and advocate: print out a sheet of labels with your sponsored child's name/ID# and your name/ID#, attach these labels to any stickers, photos, etc. that you mail to your children. I've been doing this since we started sponsoring. Makes it so much easier!!

  • Heidi P

I love this idea! I'm definitely going to have to do it!

  • Jolene McClellan

I read this somewhere awhile ago and have been doing it. It is great!

  • Diane Edgerton

I have been doing this too. It really speeds up getting a package ready to send off!

  • Compassion International

I am so glad that you all have enjoyed this way of labeling your letters! You're right, Diane! It does speed up the process just a bit for our correspondence team. -Emily

This sponsor shares a fun way to show where her and her sponsored child live on a world map. Have you done something like this with your sponsored child? #compassionletter

  • Heidi P

We've done something similar. I colored in our state (the map I found had the states outlined) and then colored in Kenya. I drew a line between the two and drew a heart. I've used maps of the Americas for our kids in El Salvador, the Dominican Republic and Peru

  • Compassion International

Heidi, what a great idea! The detail of the states being outlined would definitely give your child a great visual! :) -Emily

This coloring page would be a great reminder to our sponsored children that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. (There is a boy version available too!) #coloringpage
