What the what. So glad I saw this AFTER I just caulked for the first time. So remembering this for whenever I have to caulk anything again: using an ice cube: The caulk will not stick to the ice, and the ice will melt to the shape of the joint to become the perfect shaped tool. Lay a thin strip of "backsplash" tile in between the large tiles, instead of just using grout. I love it! So pretty!
To paint over ANY surface, without sanding, use a product called ‘ESP Easy Surface Prep’, available at hardware and paint shops. Wipe on, wipe off and paint in 90 minutes.
