In the never ending search for the perfect chuck box here’s another interesting chuck box design by lupinsea found at the Expedition Portal. Looks like a lightweight, compact and functional idea (there’s a video below showing how it is set up. I could not find any plans for this box, so you’d meed to reverse engineer if you’d like to build one.

Use baby's crib to make a bench. Great idea to repurpose a sentimental item. I might have to actually try this one day. I was always going to keep my son's crib on the off chance that he might want to use it himself one day, but seeing as though they are banning all drop side cribs I might have to rethink that!

A $20 IKEA plain white coffee table...pick your wallpaper print, spray adhesive to get it to stick...apply mod podge and spray shellac over the wallpaper as a protective coating...and lastly, add decorative nails as a border...and BAM.

instead of buying those ridiculous anti-slip mats for a rug, just turn it over and run a few lines of acrylic-latex caulk every 6 inches or so. Let dry and flip over and your rug wont be going anywhere!
