Order of Operations-after teaching PEMDAS, students were struggling with performing multiplication/ division and addition/subtraction in order from left to right (many are ELLs and stuck to the sentence, regardless of order of these operations). I recreated the steps to group them as seen. Students created their own color coded cards set to match and use.
