Mandy Pattullo aim is to create pieces which would make the viewer look again at old textiles which might be past their use by date. She is particularly passionate about very worn old patchwork quilts which were often made of old dressmaking off-cuts, old clothing and tailor’s samples.

Sewing Diary. Sewing diary of fabric samples from clothing worn by Ann Eliza Cunningham. Cunningham's handwritten notes accompany many samples and indicate variously where the fabric was purchased, who made it into clothing, who wore it, and where it was worn. The notes appear to have been written in retrospect, probably about 1885-90; the fabrics date from 1841 to 1890. Many of the samples are sewn on pages, although some are loose in the book.
I would love to make my own Sewing Diary! Sewing Diary of Fabric Samples(1841-1890) and Notes(Written In 1885-1890) Regarding Where It Was Purchased, Who Made It Into Clothing, Who Wore It & Where, By Ann Eliza Cunningham Something I've been meaning to do with my project photography and scraps...
These are all awesome pillow ideas for my recycled fabric samples!
