Silly Putty This recipe calls for TWO (that’s IT) ingredients. I love that! You will need: white, multi purpose glue (I used Elmer’s – 1 cup) liquid starch (I used Sta-Flo – 1/2 cup) optional: food coloring *You can make more/less putty than we did – just stick to a “2 parts glue, 1 part starch” combo to achieve optimal putty.
DIY: Silly Putty (Who didn't love silly putty when they were a kid??)
DIY Vintage Wood Stain: Mason jar: 1/4 cup used grounds, fill it up almost to the top with vinegar, approx 3-4 cups of vinegar to 1/4 cup grounds. It is the interaction between the steel wool and vinegar that is really important, grounds just add a brown tinge. Can use tea (strong), white vinegar goes brown, apple cider grey-ish, balsamic greenish. Search "ebonizing wood" steel wool & vinegar

Great idea for kids!!!! Buy a ceramic white plate (dollar store) and let the kids make a picture with sharpie pens, then bake @350 for 30 minutes. PS, Mr. Clean Magic eraser will take off any unbaked sharpie mistakes. Cut a small piece off and use tweezers for a tiny eraser, or use the whole sponge to erase an entire design until perfect enough to bake on permanently.I HAVE TO DO THIS!
