Temporary Storage Keeping a donation box is handy to get your rejects out of your daily space; I generally have a pile on the go of things people have left behind or i've borrowed; a gift box is super handy to keep some all-types extra gifts for impromptu dinner party or forgotten birthdays; and sure if you're an avid library user a dedicated box make sense.

If you want your house to smell heavenly, boil some orange peels with a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon on Medium heat. ~ I do this come Fall and everyone loves it - an old Southern trick
Love the chore list, but I like to add a daily or every other day laundry load to the the list so Saturday doesn't become overwhelmed with laundry. For example, Monday - sheets, Tuesday - kids clothes, Wednesday - adult clothes, Thursday -towels, Friday - kids clothes, Saturday - adult clothes. With a set schedule it is easier for the rest of the house to help.
