Click to read this amazing story of President Obama meeting a deaf man at a recent speech. I'm verklempt.
Special place in my heart for older Veterans. Wish I could find an older veteran that would tell me about his/her experiences. My father was in the Korean War and wouldn't talk about it except when he told me a couple of funny things that happened. Those were before he went into battle. He had a scar on his shoulder where he had been hit by a piece of sharpnel. It wasn't pretty.
Thank you, sir.
