Blocks help to develop hand-eye coordination and learn spatial awareness.
Understanding that objects can represent something else. An important skill for reading.
Babies can pick up blocks as early as 6 months, but your child should be able to stack at least one block by their first birthday. How can you help them? Just play! Just a few minutes a day works wonders. By the time they are 18 months, try to start working with on sorting blocks by color/size. Have fun!
