Did these myself... I absolutely LOVE them!!! Add rustic beauty to your mantle with twig candle holders. This DIY project is simple and natural, using just a flat candle holder (check thrift stores!), garden pruners, craft adhesive and dry tree or shrub branches of your choosing. The same concept could be used on vases or other decorative items. you could make sparkly ones too.

I took the doors off of it to create open storage for towels on the bottom. I then had the inside lacquered in a beautiful soft blue. For the exterior finish I used Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Paris Gray with a clear wax. I kept the original hardware. It turned out to be the perfect piece and my client loves it. - Gail
