My religion? I believe in the mysteries of the universe. While I'm pretty sure the current theories regarding a higher power are a little too limited to be accurate (especially when you really think about the scale of the universe), that absolutely does NOT mean it doesn't exist. It only means we haven't figured it out yet. And I think that's kind of beautiful:)

I love that I had parents who steered me towards Carl Sagan as a kid. When I first came across this idea: we are made of star stuff. The whole world, the whole universe we know and understand, was forged in the bellies of collapsing stars. We are all just star stuff. Sounds goofy but what a poignant and ennobling idea.
