The Art of Freeman Elliott

Freeman Elliott - "I'll Be With You In A Shake" from the 1951 Artist Sketch Pad - Elliott created his Artist Sketch Pad's for Brown & Bigelow from 1949 through 1951. His illustrations were whimsical in nature and all included some comments related to the sketches he produced. In addition to working with Brown & Bigelow, he did work with Esquire Magazine and was featured on the covers of Hearst Pictorial Weekly during the 1950's.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Freeman Elliott - "I'm Not So Green" - 1950 - Freeman Elliott worked for Brown & Bigelow from 1949 to 1951 producing artist sketch books. His works always included shadow sketches such as this one in the background.

Freeman Elliott from February 1950 - "I'll String Along" - Now that is a good saying to get a girl through Valentine's Day!
