Her great grandmother did this. When she died she didn't have a gray hair. Teabagging your hair! Blondes: Chamomile; Red: Rooibos; Brunette: Black. Once a week, steep 2 tea bags in 2 cups boiling water for 10 minutes. Let the liquid cool to room temperature. Pour the mixture over wet, just-washed hair, rubbing it through the way you would shampoo. Leave the rinse on for 10 minutes; wash and condition to seal in the silky, glossy results.

Finally doing it. Last night I started "detoxing" my hair from all commercial hair products (shampoo, conditioner etc..) Using baking soda and Raw apple cider vinager! This method helps balance out your ph levels and makes your scalp and hair so healthy, helps with ALL hair type and color treated hair too! After my first use last night, I am so happy. Not only is this much healthier it's a HUGE money saver. :-)

Pour...on dry hair. Wrap with plastic wrap or cover with a good shower cap. Leave on for 20 minutes. Wash as you normally do. Bonus: Black strap molasses, taken internally (about 2 tsp a day) can help clear up acne and strengthen hair and nails. In fact, a couple of studies have shown that daily ingestion of black strap molasses may, in fact, help alleviate hair loss and even restore hair.

Embracing your gray hair I'm doing it, going for it! At 45 I'm tired of coloring and want to promote healthy hair by going au naturale. Haven't colored since October and its coming in a beautiful white. By next Christmas I may be able to pose easily as Mrs. Claus. In the meantime it'll be a challenge to style as it grows out. Might cut it off soon - kinda scary but liberating at the same time!
