I LOVE this idea. Make a wipe-off placemat for each kid to sit down and draw out their day while I cook dinner. Then it gives us something to talk about while we eat!

Use a tension rod between the furniture and the wall to create a fort. What kid doesn't love a fort? This would also make an awesome reading nook!

Bring snow inside. Good idea for those days that the kids are begging to play in the snow but it's waaay too cold for them!
