Want to get your kids to eat their veggies? How about serving them Carrot and Zucchini Bars with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting? I would also add 1 Tbs. of ground flax and for older children some chopped walnuts or pecans for even more added health benefits... (extra fiber, protein and vitamins!)

One Pinner said "I made these! Okay, these are going to be hard to beat. The kids say they love them more than the Trader Joe's granola bars I buy. They are simple and fast to make. LOVE these and so will you. Recipe only makes about 10 bars so you're going to need to at least triple the recipe. By the way, great for summer since you don't have to bake these!"

No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars from (*use less honey and substitute chocolate protein powder)

Apples (I used Sweetango but any firm variety will do!) Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Wash and slice the apples as thinly as possible.  You could use a knife or mandoline slicer. Place slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (without overlapping the slices.) Bake for about 2 hours or until edges become crisp. Baking time can, of course exceed the approximated time based on the oven and the size of apple slices. Once done, transfer to a baking rack to allow it to cool completely. It will become more crisp when cooled.
