The dairy industry wants you to believe that cows naturally make milk for human consumption, but the reality is that they make milk to feed THEIR babies. Their babies are torn from them just days after birth so that humans can have their milk. Their babies are either slaughtered or forced into the same cruel cycle of constant pregnancies and loss of their babies.
.“Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.” ― Albert Schweitzer
And no answer we could give would be a valid one for the shit we do... :'(
"Lambs marked for slaughter: Terrified, they try desperately to get back to their mothers. One of the most heartbreaking images I've ever seen." :'(
Most mother pigs in the U.S. spend their entire adult lives confined to cramped metal crates. They never feel the affectionate nuzzle of a mate, and they are thwarted in their natural desire to build a cozy, comfortable nest. Instead, they are surrounded by cold metal bars and forced to lie on wet, feces-covered floors.
Agreed! Humans can be truly pathetic in their apathy... :'(
