Grow your own green onions...much faster than celery. Next time you buy green onions, save the bulb and toss it in a jar of water...you'll have a whole new bunch in 12 days!

Super Silky Summer Legs Next time you are feeling down, about to binge, going on a date, or just need to pamper yourself, do this. I just did it and I can not stop rubbing my legs together. It feels like I paid for that over expensive pedicure at the salon. Ingredients 1 1/4 C Sugar (Yup, plain, good-ol’ white sugar) 1/2 C Oil (I used olive oil, but you can use any oil, coconut oil, baby oil, canola oil) 3 tablespoons Citrus (Lime or lemon)

Soften and Get Rid of Tough Calluses: blend two tablespoons of baking soda in a basin of warm water and add a few drops of lavender oil. After a nice long soak, scrub them away using three parts baking soda, one part water, and one part brown sugar. Follow with an application of a rich moisturizer and a warm towel foot wrap. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.

1tsp epsom salt in 4 c warm water....spray on plant and then 10 days later. produces more fruit due to boost of magnesium... especially for tomatoes, peppers and roses

how to fold a fitted sheet (this blew my mind because it sure isn't the ridiculously hard way my Mom taught me - and so stinkin' obvious when you see the demonstration!) EASY and finally an unwrinkled bottom sheet!

Listerine: the BEST way to get your feet ready for summer. Sounds crazy but it works! Mix 1/4 cup Listerine (any kind but I like the blue), 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup of warm water. Soak feet for 10 minutes and when you take them out the dead skin will practically wipe off!

Make your own lotion! (I've been doing this for years, but this recipe replaces the vaseline with coconut oil!) I can't wait to try this new version!

BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle. (you can purchase 3 gallon size Apple Cider Vinegar in the canning section of a good hardware store - cheap!)

KILL MOLD!!! Mix 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil per 1 cup of water. Spray onto the surface with mold and allow to dry, do not rinse. This will kill the mold spores without creating harsh chemical fumes as other cleaners, such as bleach, would.

Homemade SPF with coconut oil - and it's good for your skin! No toxic chemicals!! Will need this for the pool this summer. @Devin Hunt Burke - yay for coconut oil!!

The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

Regrow roses!!! "My neighbor has a row of roses, which he took as cuttings. I asked how he took them. He simply plunges the cuttings into the ground. But his secret of success is the humble potato! Before planting cuttings, he pushes the bottom end into a small potato, which he believes keeps the cuttings moist as they develop roots. It sounds crazy, but his row of allotment roses is proof it works." (quote from link)

Self Stick tiles for wire shelving. DUH! Genius. I hate my wire shelves! My stuff always tips over.
