As manatees can't survive in water below 60 degrees, they migrate to Kings Bay and the adjacent rivers every winter, which are an average 72 degrees all year round. So from November through March 2012, you can head to Crystal River, which is 70 miles north of Tampa, where it is the epicenter of manatee-watching, and go frolicking with these giant but affectionate creatures. will be doing this... Can anyone say bucket list??!!!
Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls (or Mosi-oa-Tunya). In the fall, when the river is at its lowest and slowest, a natural rock retaining wall allows swimmers to safely jump into the pool, float to the edge, and look over the falls without being swept down. #zambia
Unbelievable....Austria's Green Lake in the Hochschwab Mountains is a hiking trail in the winter. The snow melts in early summer and creates a completely clear lake. The lake has a grassy bottom, complete with underwater trails, park benches, and bridges.
