I think it's funny how each chapter sings it differently! Never heard this version, but it's pretty!

  • Carolyn Bookholt

Yes Amanda, my chapter sung, "DG, I would like to sail with you, I would like to sail the ocean blue. DG, you have treasures that are true with your dreams of bronze, and pink, and blue." And the tune was very similar, but slightly different.

    LOVE this song!

  • Carolyn Bookholt

Me too Gwendolyn! I had never heard it until I started looking for DG songs on the 'net. Came across all of these recordings on MyDG and I'm making little videos for them so I can put them here on Pinterest! I love love love this one! Makes me a little sad I just have two little boys!

  • Gwendolyn Boone

There's still hope for a little girl! I'm loving that you're doing this with the videos. I think too many sisters don't know what a great treasure of songs DG has. Also, my chapter used to have a recording of Delta Gammas from Miami University. I believe we got it at the same time as Mary Sterling Barlow's "In the Key of DG." I really love the songs on that recording! ... They're gorgeously done in two and three part harmonies. Some of them are panhellenically incorrect, though.

  • Samantha Siffring

thanks for making these @Carolyn Bookholt!
