A Shetland pony adopted an orphaned lamb and even let it feed from her after it was left on its own in the wild. The bond between the two animals is even more remarkable as the pony had a foal of its own that it was also feeding. The mother pony even stood watch over the lamb at night in the Black Mountains in Wales.

A Curly is a breed of horse. Curlies, also called Bashkir Curlies, American Bashkir Curlies, and North American Curly Horses, come in all sizes, colors, and body types but all carry a gene for a unique curly coat of hair. The Curlies are known for their calm, intelligent and friendly personality. They show an easily trainable temperament. They are also known for having a tough constitution and great stamina.


HORSE ADOPTs ORPHANED DEER A fawn was spotted wandering alone in a field near Subenacadle, Nova Scotia, Canada, but managed to survive with the help of his new foster family of horses. Once the horses took him in, the fawn never left. He was able to survive summer and fall without his mothers milk. We guess all he really needed was a lot of love and tender care.
