Thumbprint Reindeer. Made these with the kids. I used paint instead of an ink pad, googly eyes and a painted nose. I put some stick and peel over them so that they could use them as ornaments on the tree. I thought they were cute and easy to do.
Christmas cards. I used this idea to make our Christmas cards this year. I didn't have a brown ink pad so I used paint instead. Still turned out cute just a little more smudged. Jane loved the idea. I hope the rest of the family enjoy them as much as I do. ;)
Searching for colors during nature walks. I did this yesterday with the kids. I told them we were going on a scavenger hunt and that they had to find stuff on our walk that matched the colors in their tray. When we got back we glued our treasures to a piece of paper to take home and show to their parents. The kids thought it was great! I will do this again.
Put glue on paper in designs, pour salt over it and then drop small watercolor paint droplets and watch the colors grow! We did this with Jane over the summer and she loved it. I have to admit I thought it was pretty fun too ;)
Healthy "Ice Cream". I made this for Jane and it was a big hit! Finally I found a favorite kids food that she can eat only she doesn't know the difference ;). I tried it and loved it. From now on this will be my "treat" too. It was so easy and cheap to make.
Bloomin' onion bread. Made this tonight. Super easy and really yummy. Will make again!
Squishy fishy aquariums. Did this with the kids and they loved it. They couldn't stop playing with them all day. Fun craft/project!
