I agree: people say "I loved her" or "I loved him" or especially "we were in love". You either still love them or you never did. The word love is so often overused. My philosphy is: say it if you mean it, and only if you mean it. Never say "I love you" to satisfy someone else. On the other hand, if you do mean it, TELL that person all the time. Let them know you care

Chapter 7 - Friendship - "Friends are family you get to pick." Amen. The people I'm friends know me on a deep level. They've heard about my past, seen me make mistakes, learned all my weaknesses, and think I'm amazing enough to be part of my life forever. Even though the picture behind this post is very love-relationship like, I find this to be a phenomenal descriptor of friendship.
