Teach a child to tie their shoes in less than 5 minutes

From another pinner "My mother in law has this poem framed by all the newborn pictures of the kids. Seeing newborns with the reminder of patience really drives it home for me. These rowdy boys were once sweet little wriggly babies, and why should i yell at them? i should love on them just like when they were babes. always." Good to remember! Love the frame of pics addition, too! :D ~L

We've all seen rain gutter shelves, but I fell in love with them all over again when placed in a corner like this. Add a little bean bag or small chair & Ta Da! Instant reading corner

Open Microsoft Word and go to the insert tab. Insert- Picture- Word Art. Type in the text you would like for the first line. To stretch it to be taller and wider, just click on the word, click and hold one of the black corner squares and then drag to the right until it is the size you want. On the second line with the middle & last name, do the same thing as above but just insert a separate word art for each but on the same line. The dotted line is just a row of periods stretched & made short

I love the childishness of the chalkboard placemats. Go to your local dollar store, scoop up some placemats and paint with chalkboard paint. Voila, instant seating tags, plus entertainment for your guests! Make sure to provide chalk to doodle with! This would be a fun gift for the kids at the wedding!

GENIUS!!! an app that photographs and archives your kids' art, and then you can print a coffee table book of the collection. i'm in love!
