Re-Imagined Low-Fat, Low-Calorie Cinnabon® Cinnamon Rolls

  • Pam Orr

This recipe can be made lighter, easier, and with more fibre. Buy whole wheat frozen bread dough. Let rise according to package directions. Press out. Use ultra light Becel or light I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spread, spreading it on bread. Use brown sugar Splenda or all Splenda with one or two tablespoons of real brown sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Cut into 9 pieces. Let rise at least 45 minutes more. As I recall, I baked them at 350 for about 20 minutes.

  • Pam Orr

I used only 2 or 3 tablespoons of light margarine and used about the same amount of brown sugar Splenda. As well, I skipped the frosting.

  • Karan Brown

    Thank you Pam!

  • Lori Wilk

Will they be selling this version at airports anytime soon? It would make travel yummy and healthier.
